About
Dioramawatch.com was born out of my sincere interest / obsession with the Dioramas that a neighbor of mine creates a couple blocks from where I live. For every holiday, (and some local events, like the State Fair), an occupant of this house (okay, I’m pretty sure it’s a “she”) painstakingly creates a scene to capture the moment or event with dolls, and props – often with hilarious results.
I have lived by the Diorama Lady for five years. Every day I return home from work, and look forward to seeing what she has done in her front window. Will she out-do last Christmas? Has she introduced more dolls? More props? Will she become more PC this Thanksgiving? I gotta see the latest Diorama!

What once was started in humor may ultimately lead to an obsession. Be careful; this is dangerous stuff. Believe me, I know!

Stumbled upon this site just a few minutes ago and I must say I’m rather enjoying it.

Given the new president, I can’t wait what to see what the diorama lady will put up for JFK day.
